Dr. Dudley is an associate in the Biotechnology/Chemical practice group. He assists in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications. Dr. Dudley's professional expertise includes genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, stem cell biology, developmental biology, and microbiology.

While earning his Ph.D., Dr. Dudley characterized the role of Bone Morphogenetic Proteins (BMPs) in establishing a primordial germ cell niche in the early mouse embryo. Dr. Dudley found that BMP signaling promotes the survival of niche somatic cells and the expression of germ cell survival factors and potential migrational cues.

As a law student at American University, Dr. Dudley served as a member of the American University Law Review, the Senior Articles Editor of the Intellectual Property Brief, and a student attorney with the Glushko-Samuelson Intellectual Property Law Clinic.
